چکیده
This contribution focuses on the development of Model Order Reduction (MOR) for one-way coupled steady state linear thermo-mechanical problems in a finite element setting. We apply Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) computation reduced basis space. On other hand, evaluation modal coefficients, we use two different methodologies: one based Galerkin projection (G) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). aim to compare POD-G POD-ANN terms relevant features including errors computational efficiency. In this context, both physical geometrical parametrization are considered. also carry out validation Full (FOM) customized benchmarks order provide complete pipeline. The framework proposed is applied industrial problem related investigation phenomena arising blast furnace hearth walls.

The Particle Finite Element Method (PFEM) in thermo-mechanical problems
The aim of this work is to develop a numerical framework for accurately and robustly simulating the different conditions exhibited by thermo-mechanical problems. In particular the work will focus on the analysis of problems involving large strains, rotations, multiple contacts, large boundary surface changes and thermal effects. The framework of the numerical scheme is based on the Particle Fin...
متن کاملB-Spline Finite Element Method for Solving Linear System of Second-Order Boundary Value Problems
In this paper, we solve a linear system of second-order boundary value problems by using the quadratic B-spline nite el- ement method (FEM). The performance of the method is tested on one model problem. Comparisons are made with both the analyti- cal solution and some recent results. The obtained numerical results show that the method is ecient.
متن کاملModel Order Reduction for Coupled Problems
In this survey, we provide an overview of model order reduction (MOR) methods applied to coupled systems. The coupling can be linear or nonlinear, weak or strong. Physically, the coupling may come from structurestructure coupling, fluid-structure or fluid-fluid interaction, electro-thermal coupling, electroor thermal-mechanical coupling, or circuit-device coupling. Different MOR methods for cou...
متن کاملFinite Element Model for Steady-State Rolling Tire Analysis
The paper describes a finite element model for steady state rolling tire analysis. The model, which is improved in comparison to earlier models created by the authors, enables a larger number of analyses to be conducted in less time and with greater accuracy. The descriptions of model structure and model building procedure are given, followed by the algorithm according to which the improvement ...
